Most everything you need to know

What to bring, our mission statement and our beliefs

Whatever you do, do to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

What we Believe

God is the One True God of the universe.  There is no one like Him.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent down to earth to live among men, totally without sin;  He died for all the sins of mankind  past, present and future.  Then he was raised from the dead three days later.  Jesus Christ conquered sin and death, and He desires all to be saved and for all to receive Him as Savior.
If anyone believes in Jesus Christ as his/her Savior, they are “saved” which means they are now in the family of God.  Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.  SEYC teaches and urges each new believer to pursue Christ daily.

The Holy Spirit (being part of the trinity), lives inside each believer to comfort, encourage and convict the believer to live according to the scriptures.

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and contains absolute Truth.

Each person’s local church is vital to a believer’s spiritual growth and Godly encouragement.  SEYC wants to take a leading role in directing each believer to seek counsel from godly friends and family in their church and nearby; also we encourage each person to be a leader in their church and their community.

SEYC encourages each person to pursue God in every aspect of their life.  We take an aggressive role in communicating with all campers and staff throughout the year.

Our Mission:
To lead young people to become devoted followers of Christ and to become a community of unified Christians. 1 Corinthians 12:26

Our Vision:

Loving God, loving people and making disciples of Jesus Christ wherever we go. We want to urge young believers to unite in love and selfless sacrifice.
Romans 12:9-13
