South Eastern Youth Camp began in 1990 when Boyce and Debra Smith of Trussville, AL decided that the youth ministry at their home church would benefit from having a summer camp program.  The Smiths titled this new ministry SEYC, in the hopes of reaching beyond AL, and out to other surrounding states.  Their efforts have proved worthy as SEYC is now attended by people nationwide, and even as far as Russia and Australia.
